Mt. Timpanogas Temple

Temple #13
Mt. Timpanogos
January 31, 2014

A new year, and a new temple. It had been a while since we went to a new temple. We went regularly to the temple, but not often to new ones in the winter.
The Mt. Timpanogos Temple is very similar to the Bountiful Temple, and is identical on the outside. It has beautiful stained glass on the spire, which shines brilliantly against the backdrop of Mt. Timpanogos, in which it is named after.
It's hard to write new things about this Temple since it's the same as the Bountiful Temple. One thing is that when it was built, which surprisingly only took a year after its announcement, it relieved much of the crowds from the Provo Temple.
It's gorgeous inside and out, with the Celestial room being brilliant and beautiful, with the typical, but most wonderful, chandelier in the room that adds an awe-inspiring sight in the room.
There may not be much more new things to say about the Mt. Timpanogas Temple, but that doesn't mean it's less spiritual or amazing than any other Temple.
We urge all who read this to go to the Temple as soon and as often as possible. Why? Because we know, from personal experience, that it brings a peace to your life that cannot be found anywhere. It's incomparable. And if you have gone and don't feel that peace, then open your mind and heart, say a prayer before, during and after you go, go with a question, and ponder as you go through. If you do this we know you’ll learn something new, or you'll receive inspiration, or you'll feel that comfort which you need to get through this crazy life. That is the truth, and our testimonies. We LOVE the temples!
