Brigham City Utah Temple

Temple #12
Brigham City Temple
November 30, 2013

Another beautiful day, another beautiful Temple. We went to two new temples back to back. The Draper Temple on the 29th, and then the Brigham City Temple on the 30th. It was a great way to spend the Thanksgiving weekend together for Ivy and I. As I've said before, we take every opportunity we've got to go to the temples, especially if it's a new one for us.
The peace we feel at the temple is unlike anywhere else. We receive inspiration there that help us make life decisions. We learn more about the gospel, learning more about the Plan of Salvation and our Savior Jesus Christ. We feel the Love of those we go for, and those we go with. This is why we go to the Temple. We love it.
The Brigham City Temple is near the middle of the town. As we drove through the tree-lined road, the two spires in the temple began to rise and appear before us. The temple was beautiful and bright.
We went with Darcy and Vera, and Grandma Ivy, which made it more fun. Ivy's parents, along with her grandma Ivy, have become some great Temple-going partners. Traveling with them is always a blast, and creates some amazing family time. Going with them to the Brigham City Temple was a blast, and it's always fun to sit next to someone you know in a session. If needed, questions can be asked and answered (by whispering of course).
The Brigham City Temple is simple yet wonderful. It brings an old style and feeling to a new temple, and a spirituality uncomparable, as all other temples do. It's a smaller Temple, and you need to usually make an appointment when going.
If going through the town of Brigham City, or passing by on I-15, we recommend taking the time to visit the Brigham City Temple, or at least stopping by and enjoying the sight.
